My name is Eve Ocasio and I am the founding member of Troczynski Ocasio PC. I have over 18 years of experience representing clients nationally before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Prior to founding Troczynski Ocasio PC, I worked for a medium-size immigration law firm.

I received my juris doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, where I was a founding member of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. Prior to attending law school, I obtained a bachelor of arts in political science and German from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and then worked for Heartland International implementing U.S. Department of State-sponsored democracy training programs.

Throughout my career, I have appeared on several radio stations discussing current topics in immigration law and have provided assistance to clients through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services – Amicus Poloniae. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and The Chicago Bar Association. I was also selected for inclusion in Illinois Rising Stars from 2012 to 2014 as well as in 2020 Illinois Super Lawyers.
